HIGHLIGHTS

Romanu Naag, Aajat Naag are related to devta and the deity travels to Manikaran on pilgrimage after a gap of twelve to eighteen years. Presently there is no Gur of devta, the last one was selected by the deity about 100 years back. The temple of the devta has been re-constructed in 2011. Legend has it that the mohra of the deity was found in a filed by a farmer named Jaisi Saral. Later the house caught fire, Jaisi put the Mohra in the kilta and started towards his in-laws place, Vyasar with his daughter. He was halfway through when it got dark but he saw daylight in village Soyal. The devta said that he should be taken to the Thakur of Soya. Jaisi Saral took him there. The Thakur consecrated the Devta with respect in a temple and the devta settled here. Devta has five mohras.
