HIGHLIGHTS

Long Back there lived in Baihna a group of people locally called as Muaanhe. They had a dumb cowherd. Omce on eof the cow stopped giving milk. Then the cowherd saw that a snake sipped the milk from the udder of the cow. He told this to the astonished villagers trhough signs. When the villagers came and tried to search the nag they found an earthen shivling and a Mohra. The villagers constructed a temple and place them in it. It is called Baihna Mahadev because the devta is established in Baihna Village. The devta has 17 mohras.
