HIGHLIGHTS

Veer Nath after he was killed in Thach Village of Lag Valley, attained divinity and become popular as Gohari Devta. Once when Raja Mansingh of Kullu was going through Lag Valley to take on the forces of Raja of Mandi, the temple of Gohari Devta was damaged by the hoofs of the raja’s horse. The horse became lame as a result. The Raja prayed to the Gohari Devta and the horse was miraculously healed immediately. When the Raja told about this episode to his queen she asked the raja to make the temple of Gohari Devta at Sultanpur at such a place so that she could see the Devta every morning. Raja obliged and made the temple at Dhalpur in front of his place.
