HIGHLIGHTS

Kapil Muni worshipped at Kalath in ancient times. His main seat was near the source of stream on the hillside. Here the water flows in a peculiar way- for six months the stream follows one course and for the next six months it changes its course. Another peculiar feature o this stream is that it falls on the idols of Ganesh and Hanuman carved on a rock naturally. There is hot water spring also. The hot springs cure skin diseases. The location of temple was shifted after the earthquake in 1905. Devta heals and cures mental tensions.
