HIGHLIGHTS

The story about how Devta arrived here in Dhara Deura is that once a Thakur namely Hool of Shanshar was made captive by the king of Bushaihar. Hool Thakur was the complete devotee of Manu Rishi. He prayed Manu Rishi in prison then if he made him free from the prison that he would build a temple for him. Manu on hearing his praying, transform himself in the form of a honey bee and then opened the lock of prison and also that of enchain. Hool Dehura. Thakur on reaching Shanshar safely made a temple for Rishi in Dhara Dehura.
