HIGHLIGHTS

Parashar is the main deity of Maharaja Kothi in Kullu and is laso known as bada deo.The other gods of Maharaja kothi like Narayan of Buwai and Lot, Veer Kaila of Khalogi, Veer Baradhi of Kareri, Veer Kaila of Prakshi, Sharpal Devta, Bonsu Devta, Rupnu Pal of Paha call him ‘Dadu’ (Grandfather). There are three ponds of Parashar where ladies are not allowed. One can enter the temple only after taking the bath. The devta does not allow – cigarettes, tobacco and other intoxicants, shoes etc. in the 200mtrs. of the premises of the temple. Violators are punished by  the devta.
