A cowherd in the village of Kamand used to go to graze the cattle. One day in the day when he fell asleep one of the cows went to a place named Triveni and left her milk there. When the cow stopped giving milk at home the owner asked the cowherd about the cause. The next day the cowherd followed the cow and saw the scene and told the truth to the owner. In the night the owner had dream in which the devata told him to dig out the stone. He told this to the villagers who then went there and found a shivling.
