People tell that a woman found a mohra in the village digging in her field. The news spread in the village that a mohra has been discovered and the people wanted to know about it. The devi appeared in a dream of a villager and revealed her identitly as devi Bhatanti. Devi blessed the people and they attained the prosperity. A temple was built for the devi. Devi has straight (Khada) rath with 12 mohras.
