HIGHLIGHTS
At one time Nirday Thakur was the chief of the village Bishal. He was a rich man. He had number of cows. A cowherd used to take them for grazing to a place named Deu Punee. Once it was observed that one cow stopped giving milk. When this position continued for several days the Thakur asked the cowherd, but he was unable to say anything. Then the Thakur went with the cowherd to the jungle. In the evening he saw that the cow moved near to a bush and the milk started flowing automatically and fell on the earth. On digging at the place the Thakur found a mohra there. But as the Thakur was angry he did not pick up the mohra and returned home. When the cowherd told this incident to the villagers they came with spade and carried the mohra home. At this time a voice was heard in the air that Shesh Nag has appeared. The devta was established in the village. He destroyed the Thakur completely. The devta has twelve mohras.
