HIGHLIGHTS

This incidence relates to the time when Nirmand was being ruled by the Ranas. One of those Ranas lived at Shabhour, 4 km away from Nirmand. He was a complete devotee of Goddess Ambika. Once, whil he was praying the goddess, a girl child came in his lap. She told that she come from the heaven. The Rana started worshipping her ignoring Ambika. Devi Ambika on this became angry and killed the Rana. The girl then reached village of Baadi where there lived a wicked Muvana. The girl finished him. The villagers knowing her power established her as their devi and built a temple. She is named as Badasana devi. The devi has nine mohras of ashtdhatu and silver. The main mohra is named as devi durga baadi.
